Royal Alex Place
A commercial to residential conversion located in close proximity to Royal Alexandra Hospital, in Edmonton.
The project slots 18 new residential units into the existing 3rd floor, providing a mix of studio, single and double bedroom units. Upgrades to the main floor were also required, triggered due to the current code and occupant safety. Work on the existing building is challenging, as codes and energy efficiency has changed dramatically since the time it was built, and this adds to the complexity of the project.
