What is Archimixer?

A Mixer Night for: Architects, Interior Designers, and Technologists in the Edmonton area including Interns.
Inspired by: A similar event regularly hosted by Bittorf Holland Christianson Architects (circa 1974-1989).
No: Clients*, Contractors, Suppliers, Headhunting, etc.

*Some client groups like the City of Edmonton have architects, interior designers and technologists on staff. If you work for one of those groups, unfortunately you don't fit the attendance criteria. One exception would be if you are attending as a representative of AAA, CAA, RAIC, MADE, etc.

Edmonton: Friday, March 7th, 2025, 4-7pm.

How often does this happen?

With a great turnout in 2023 and 2024, Next Architecture will try to do this annually, probably after Family Day and before the Public School winter break each year. If another firm is interested in hosting the next one or having a similar event in spring (May?) on years there isn’t a Banff Session, please contact us. Summer is busy and Fall seems to get filled with open houses and holiday events.

Can I contribute?

In past years attendees expressed interest in contributing to the cost of snacks and beverages. If the same happens in 2025 we will pool contributions. If contributions exceed the costs, we’ll donate the balance to Hope Mission's downtown Edmonton - Cold Hands Warm Hearts. If your firm wants to take a turn hosting in the future, see above.
